These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of KEEP CALM WALK THE DOG's Website, located at Keepcalmwalkthedog.com.
By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use KEEP CALM WALK THE DOG if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.
RESERVATIONS:
Please schedule in advance for services. Meet and greets are required before reservations for all new clients. During the meeting, I will advise you to review my policies on the website.
PAYMENTS:
Dog Walking: Payment is due in full when the dates for walks are confirmed. Failure to pay before the day of scheduled walk will result in no walks. For boarding 50% of total is due when service is confirmed. Balance is due at the time of or prior to the first visit of that scheduled service. Boarding checking out is before 5PM if time is exceeded another Boarding charge will be added for the day.
CANCELLATIONS:
If cancellation is not made 3 hours before a scheduled walk, it will be charged for a regular walk. If you are home during a scheduled visit and and forget to cancel the full price of the service will be charged Boarding cancellations can be made up to 48 hours in advance. If cancellation is passed 48 hours prior to the first visit of your scheduled service period, a fee of 25% of the total service fee is applied. If you cancel any part of your scheduled boarding, for example canceling early in your scheduled reservation, you are responsible for the entire initial reservation fee. No refunds or credits will be issued.
HOLIDAY SURCHARGE:
Holiday Surcharge: There is an additional fee of $30 per day (regardless of # of visits) charged on these holidays:

Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
New Year's Day
PET SAFETY:
I do not service any aggressive or medically complicated pets. I will apply simple medication as instructed by client. However, I cannot guarantee the outcome of medication. I will not be held liable for harm or death to pet(s) resulting from what is instructed. I will not be liable in the event pet(s) suffers any negative reactions due to medications. If I am physically unable to reach your home due to closed roads or other weather related issues, I will contact you ASAP. It's the pet owner’s responsibility to make sure your pet is safe in your home. I will not be liable for any injuries the pet may sustain or property damage the pet may cause while in its own home/property. Walks during unfavourable weather conditions may be shortened due to the safety of the pet and walker.
